Frequently asked questions

You will find below answers to our FAQs  which should hopefully put your mind at ease. If you have questions which aren't addressed below, please get in touch. We hope to see you soon.

When should I arrive for my class?
Please arrive at your class no more than 5 minutes before your start time, this is to minimise the large groups of people congregating. We will greet you at the start of the class.

Can I block book classes?
Yes, add 5 classes into your basket and add the code Class5 to get the discount. This does not apply to any of the specials we do.

Is there Parking at the venue?
There is no designated car park at venue, but there is ample street parking and we are on the number 10 bus route.

What does a class entail?
You and your child will freely move between 5 tuff trays with themed activities, there is no time limit on how long you can spend in each tray. After playing we will bring out a tray with warm water in for your child to get washed down, before getting dried off and moving to our sensory mats to share a story with you. During this time you can both enjoy a complimentary drink and biscuit before ending the session.

What do I need to bring with me?
We recommend you bring a change of clothes, fresh nappies (If needed) and a towel. We have nappy changing facilities for you to use, please ensure any dirty nappies are taken home.

What should we wear?
We recommend old clothing, or clothes you don't mind getting messy or stained. We ask that shoes are removed to avoid slipping but you can either keep your sock on or take them off.

My child is unwell can we still attend?
Unfortunately not, we ask that your child doesn't attend if they are ill this is to prevent infections spreading. We follow the public health England illness controls as a guide. Please see terms and conditions linked at the bottom of the page for more information.

What if my child has an allergy or intolerance?
We try and accommodate all allergies and intolerances, we ask that you disclose these on your booking form so we can amend the trays accordingly. (see reference in terms and conditions below). If allergies or intolerances change before the class please let us know at least 24 hours before, so we can try and work with you to adapt this.

Can both parents attend?
We are happy for both parents or 2 adults to come along and join in the messy group.

My child has additional needs, how do you support this?

We are proud that our staff have childcare experience, having worked in childcare and still do work in childcare. Our staff thrive to make our messy play session as calm and child led as possible. Please contact us if you have any concerns and we can discuss this with you and see what we can do to support this.
